About Pesticide Residue Testing
Pesticide residue is the single most common reason food consignments are rejected for export, and the list of regulated molecules runs into the hundreds. CVR Labs operates dedicated GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS multi-residue platforms that screen organochlorine, organophosphorus, pyrethroid, carbamate, triazole and neonicotinoid pesticides in one analytical run on fruits, vegetables, cereals, spices, tea and edible oils.
QuEChERS extraction with matrix-matched calibration and certified standards delivers parts-per-billion sensitivity, and results are reported against FSSAI MRLs, Codex and importing-country limits (such as EU 396/2005). A presumptive hit is confirmed on mass spectrometry, giving exporters and FSSAI-compliant manufacturers legally defensible residue data.

Reference methods applied
Samples are extracted by QuEChERS with matrix-matched calibration against certified reference standards. Volatile and non-polar pesticides (organochlorines, pyrethroids) are run by GC-MS/MS; polar and thermolabile actives (organophosphates, carbamates, triazoles, neonicotinoids) by LC-MS/MS, under validated in-house CVR SOPs within the accredited scope. The appropriate method is selected for each analyte and matrix.
